Melinda Beavers has been drawing, painting & designing since the sale of her first painting at age 13.
Melinda has a particular passion for whimsical children’s illustrations, animals and fantastical beasts. Her illustrations have been featured in print publications, product design and packaging, as well as displayed in international juried exhibitions. She enjoys working in both traditional and digital media, specializing in colored pencil work and vector graphics. She has received numerous awards for her illustrations.
Melinda’s background as a illustrator has also influenced her graphic design work, which includes surface design, product development, package design, and product displays. She has developed brand identities, print collateral campaigns, and multi-media promotions.
She is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and a Signature member of the Colored Pencil society of America.
